Coronavirus (COVID-19) Update

coronavirus

Clients, community members, and friends:

Dana Whiting Law has been closely monitoring the fast-evolving Coronavirus and its impact on our markets, the country and the world! We are taking this virus very seriously.

Our top priority is the health and well-being of our team, clients, families, and friends. We have developed guidelines as part of an internal coronavirus response plan. This plan includes giving all employees the capability to work remotely, canceling most seminars and events, limiting business travel, implementing quarantine policies, and coordinating more thorough sanitizing and cleaning measures in all common areas and meeting spaces.

Dana Whiting Law will support all client requests to do business telephonically and via email. We understand that these unsettling times test us all. During this time of uncertainty, we will do our very best to stay positive. Our team members have stepped up to assist our clients however we can. Our core mission is to create peace of mind by developing a long-lasting relationship. Achieving this requires extra effort whenever times are hard. We are committed to doing whatever we can to assist our team, our clients and our community.

Those of you who may be clients and desire some changes to your Will, Trust or other Estate Planning documents, we don’t really need to meet in person to make these changes. Simply send me an email at Matt.Dana@dwlaz.com with a list of your changes, and we will email you back a flat fee quote to make them. In your email, you can specify whether or not you want a phone consult to discuss the changes before we make them. You can also specify whether or not you want us to review your existing documents to see if we recommend any other revisions as a result of recent changes to Federal Income Tax laws or State laws regarding Trusts.

Lastly, we would like to remind all clients of how important it is to make sure your Trust is properly funded. Make sure all assets that should be in the Trust are in the Trust. If you need any help with funding your Trust please send us an email. We will work out a flat fee for all items that need to be changed.

If you want a copy of our publication “Funding Your Trust”, please email us and we will gladly send it.

Sincerely,

Matthew S. Dana
