About Hallie Tessendorf

Hallie R. Tessendorf, JD is an estate planning lawyer who recently re-entered the legal profession after spending time raising her three children. She joined Dana Whiting Law at the beginning of 2018 and has immersed herself in estate planning and trust law.

Hallie is committed to helping families plan for their future and giving them peace of mind when it comes to ensuring their family is cared for and their legacy is protected. Hallie works frequently with Special Needs Trusts, Gun Trusts, and specialty trusts, providing guidance for the best fit for her clients where other attorneys may have simply given them a generic estate plan. In addition, Hallie is one of the firm’s lead trust administration and probate attorneys, guiding families through the administration process that follows after someone’s passing.

Hallie is a born and raised Arizonan and bleeds Maroon and Gold. Coming from a line of ASU grads, she graduated Magna Cum Laude with a B.A. in Political Science and later graduated from ASU’s Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law, where she was on Law Review and graduated Cum Laude.

Her greatest achievement and challenge during law school was having her first son over Christmas break in her second year. This taught her how to manage time efficiently, work diligently during the hours she could devote to school, and appreciate a broad range of life experiences. She brings these skills, a strong work ethic, and dedication when working with any of our clients, from small estates to large trust administrations.
